noun
handwriting

the

verb
write a
script for (a play, film, or broadcast).
The collection starts from the exploration of
the process of creation and character development of a screenplay.
In it, they inhabit an undefined space, as
still diffuse sketches, in the emotional geography of the author.
In his 34th collection, Nuno Baltazar departs
from this exploration to compose visual narratives that cross the different
layers of this character, which is his imaginary.
The colors, silhouettes and materials start
from this individuality, but are already presented as the result of the crossing
and interaction of these protagonists. Proposals that result from sharp
contrasts with three-dimensional details, oversized and tromp-l'oeil, games of
light and shadow, feminine and masculine, in multiple textures that cohabit in
an unexpected way.
A flat palette of ivory, champagne, cinnamon,
cognac, tobacco, smoke, black, silver, and gold. Cotton, linen, wool, and silk
appear in different structures, vichy flannels, crepe, duchese satin, jacquard,
corduroy lace, and paillettes knits.
Oversized silhouettes, H and Y lines, 7/8
lengths and with volumetric highlighting of shoulders and sleeves, overlaps,
and "tromp-l'oeil" effects
In accessories, special emphasis on retro
embroidery, sanndals and high boots made from natural and mirrored leathers,
which reinforce the slim silhouette.
